Margarita Mendez nació el 18 de Octubre del 1946 en El Sitio, Zacatecas Mexico. Margarita entró en descanso el 4 de Marzo del 2019 en Dallas, Texas. Le sobreviven su esposo Paulo; hijos Gerardo, Juan José y Humberto; hijas Maria Guadalupe, Maria Teresa, Patricia, Paulina y Celia; 21 nietos y 15 bisnietos. Tambien le sobrevive su hermano Pablo y su hermana Natalia. Su lugar de descanso será Royse City Cemetery en Royse City, Texas.
