A Maria le sobreviven su esposo Ruben; hijos Daniel, Ruben y Alejandro; hijas Jessica y Gloria; y nietos Jorge y Cataleya. Tambien le sobrevive su padre Rodrigo; hermanos Juan, Jose, Rodrigo Jr. y Manuel; y hermanas Graciela, Bertha Alicia, Yesenia y Sara. Fue prededida en la muerte por su nieto Antony.

Su lugar de descanso sera Grove Hill Cemetery en Dallas, Texas.
